Orhan Ercan, Interior Architect gained experience in various interior design and architecture offices in İstanbul after graduating from Bilkent University Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. To deepen his academic and professional knowledge, he went to Norway and completed his Master’s degree in Furniture and Spatial Design at the University of Bergen Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design. Upon returning to Turkey, he founded his own studio and began design practice in his own way.
Orhan Ercan Studio is a design studio based in Muğla, Menteşe since 2020 that combines Architecture, Interior Design and Furniture Design with a holistic approach. While the studio’s core philosophy is an equitable design principle of “design for everyone,” it also focuses intensively on bespoke work tailored to each individual’s unique needs; within this framework, design research is given particular importance.
The studio’s design approach feeds conceptual ideas with solid functionality and is built on thinking through and planning every detail during design process. Embracing a continuously evolving design practice, it aims to produce better solutions. From its headquarters in Muğla, Menteşe, the studio provides design, consultancy and supervision services in regional districts such as Bodrum, Marmaris, Datça, Fethiye and Göcek as well as national and international online design services.
